PAWTUCKET – City Councilor-At-Large Yesenia Rubio announces that this Friday, Nov. 6, she will host a community breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. at Notes Coffee Co. to support community members who experienced financial strain during the recent government shutdown and temporary pause in SNAP benefits.

Though the federal government has officially reopened, families across Pawtucket continue to face lingering challenges. The shutdown and benefit disruptions created unexpected hardships for many households, she said, including lost wages, delayed assistance, and increased food insecurity.
