The Opposition Congress on Wednesday slammed the ’eminent personalities’ for writing an open letter against Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, calling them ‘BJP employment exchange applicants’.

“These eminent personalities seem more like BJP employment exchange applicants. They appear to be dealing with matters beyond their roles and responsibilities,” Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate said.

Shrinate also sought to know why these people don’t talk about the increasing crime rate and repeated intelligence failures.

“Before 2014, people would ask questions of the government, but now they are questioning the opposition, which is not even in power,” she said.
