SAGINAW, MI – Holidays in the Heart of the City is returning to downtown Saginaw this weekend, offering Christmas cheer for attendees of all ages.
Hosted by Positive Results Downtown Saginaw, the free annual event will take place from 5-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, and the festivities will continue from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22.
A tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5:45 p.m. Friday at the Saginaw Water Treatment Plant, located at 522 Ezra Rust Drive. Friday’s festivities will conclude with a fireworks display at 8:30 p.m. from Ojibway Island.
The holiday celebration will resume Saturday in downtown Saginaw with the city’s annual Christmas parade, which will begin at 11 a.m.
