Clete Casper, director of real estate for data center developer Sabey Corporation, showed up to an open house at the Decatur Township School of Excellence on Nov. 18 hoping to convince local residents that his company's proposed center campus in the township would be a positive development.

Casper tried to persuade the crowd that the estimated $4 billion data center would boost quality of life through tax payments, good jobs and economic investment.
