Police said they discovered the 'worst mystery box ever' when they opened a van involved in a huge chase.

Officers from Warwickshire Police's Operational Patrol Officers (OPU) were called into action when Leicestershire colleagues flagged a van linked to a cannabis grow.

"But even they weren’t prepared for what was actually inside," the Warwickshire team said. The van fled across the border into Warwickshire and the C-shift unit and firearms officers spotted it on the M6 .

With backup from West Midlands Police , the van was stopped on the A38. Two occupants fled the scene. Two people were later arrested.

Then police opened the van - dubbed 'the big reveal' by the local team.

"Instant avalanche. Floor‑to‑roof, bags spilling out like a budget Black Friday sale." the team explained
