JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — G'day Robert, welcome to the 904!
The Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens announced on Wednesday that Australian wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin will be a featured guest at the zoo's Toast to Conservation gala in 2026.
Robert, the son of legacy conservationist Steve Irwin, will be appearing as the event's featured guest on Feb. 10, 2026, at the newly developed VyStar SkyScape and J. Wayne and Delores Barr Weaver Manatee River Habitat .
The zoo says that Irwin will be highlighting personal field experiences and answering questions from attendees about "triumphs of global conservation," as well as discussing the Irwin family's nonprofit organization, Wildlife Warriors .
