The Reno City Council is set to discuss something they've been gathering information on for the last six months - at its next meeting.

“This is something that has been in the works for months... We're going to look at all the noise regulations and ordinances that we have today, whether it's disturbing the peace, or how loud a bar can be, or just how loud an event can be,” says Angela Fuss, Assistant Director, Development Services.

Some downtown residents are raising the alarm as well saying recent events like concerts at the J Resort are too loud for the area.
