CITY HALL — OUTGOING MAYOR ERIC ADAMS praised NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch and the work she has done with his administration since she took the helm of the nation’s largest police department in November 2024.

Speaking on initiatives that he and his administration launched, Adams described the “Blueprint to End Gun Violence,” the launch of Neighborhood Safety Teams and the formation of a Gun Violence Prevention Task Force.
