AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - We’re learning more about the Florida DUI death of an ex-resident of Grovetown that’s set off a search for the former CSRA resident who’s a suspect.

Jacksonville Beach police issued an arrest warrant on Oct. 21 for Robin Nikolas McAlarney, who’s now about 30 years old.

He is charged with driving under the influence and DUI manslaughter, according to police in Florida.

It’s all connected to a May 17 fatal motorcycle crash near Third Street South and St. Augustine Boulevard in Jacksonville Beach.

McAlarney was the driver of a motorcycle and Tara Michelle Shaw, 22, was a passenger who died in the crash. Both lived in Columbia County before ending up in Florida.
