MUNISING, MI -- Outdoor enthusiasts and experts looking for an office with epic lake views over sandstone cliffs and winding paths through wild forests have an opening in the Upper Peninsula.

The Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is accepting applications for the 2026 and 2027 commercial operating season.

The park, managed in two zones for a total of 73,235 acres along Lake Superior, is looking for guides in five categories.

Guided Kayaking

Guided Photography Workshops

Guided Ice Climbing

Transportation Services

A limited number of permits will be issued to highly qualified applicants based on their relevant experience, operating history, and their ability to provide visitor safety while protecting park resources.
