This year’s limited panel included the showrunners of three true crime series, Hulu’s “Murdaugh: Death in the Family,” Peacock’s “Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy” and Hulu’s “The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox,” as well as crime thriller “Black Rabbit,” Netflix’s story of a troubled pair of brothers in New York’s restaurant business, based on the real restaurant The Spotted Pig and its downfall.
