The electronic shingle on self-proclaimed ‘Cocaine Lawyer’ Deepak Paradkar’s storefront says “Temporarily Closed.”
But if the full wrath of the U.S. government wins the day, the GTA mouthpiece will be on ice permanently, the Toronto Sun has learned.
Law enforcement sources told the Sun that Paradkar was arrested late Tuesday for murder and conspiracy to murder in connection with Olympic snowboarder-turned-gangster Ryan Wedding’s criminal empire.
“(Wedding’s lawyer, Paradkar) advised him to kill this witness,” alleged Bill Essayli, first Assistant U.S. Attorney at the Central District of California. “‘If you kill this witness, the case will be dismissed.'”
Officials said Paradkar refused to come out of his house when law enforcement arrived.
