Two Brampton men who run a trucking company are charged with conspiracy to import drugs over the Blue Water Bridge after a 300-kilogram cocaine bust earlier this year.
Lovedeep Singh, 32, and Khushdeep Singh, 29, who live at the same address in Brampton, are charged with conspiracy and possessing property obtained by crime. One of the conspiracy charges alleges between March 1 and March 6, in Point Edward, they conspired to import cocaine into Canada from the U.S. by organizing and directing Ravinderbir Singh, court records say.
Ravinderbir Singh, a 23-year-old truck driver, was arrested in March by Canadian customs officers at the bridge connecting Point Edward and Michigan and charged with importing cocaine and possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
