A man accused of carrying out a train attack in Cambridgeshire has been charged in relation to a string of other alleged offences.

Anthony Williams, 32, of Langford Road, Peterborough, was due to appear Peterborough Magistrates’ Court this afternoon, November 19, according to British Transport Police (BTP).

The new charges related to incidents that allegedly took place on Friday, October 31 - the day before the train attack.

Williams faces these new charges:

Attempted murder of a 14-year-old boy at Henry Penn Walk, Peterborough, on October 31

Attempted grievous bodily harm (GBH) of a 28-year-old man at Vier
