LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Report cards were just released for Kentucky schools. Here's how Jefferson County Public Schools faired.
JCPS administrators say they are encouraged by improving graduation rates in the latest Kentucky Summative Assessment results.

The data from the Kentucky Department of Education shows the average graduation rate for JCPS rose 1%, to 89.2%, for the 2024-2025 school year.
The results reflect the final year of previous JCPS Superintendent Marty Pollio.
The new superintendent, Brian Yearwood, said he is encouraged by the rise in attendance year-over-year.
He also pointed to the drop in chronic absenteeism, which refers to the percentage of students who miss 10% or more of school days.
