LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - JCPS students and staff are celebrating the progress made in graduation and post-secondary readiness rates, according to the latest data released.
The district’s average graduation rate rose to 89.2%, compared to last year’s average of 88.2%. JCPS’ post-secondary readiness rate hit 84%.
The Kentucky Department of Education released its 2025 School Report Card (SRC) data derived from Kentucky Summative Assessment (KSA) on Wednesday. The 2024-2025 assessment and accountability data shows JCPS’ areas of improvement and how policy changes have impacted learning.
For Superintendent Dr. Brian Yearwood, the 2024-2025 data is a snapshot of where the district stands, so he can strategize how he wants to see the district improve.
