C-Tran’s board composition review committee has agreed to move forward with the state’s preferred board configuration but added stipulations that could limit the city of Vancouver and Clark County’s influence over issues impacting the county’s smaller cities.

The decision comes five months after the Washington State Department of Transportation informed C-Tran leaders that the Clark County transit agency’s board was out of compliance with a state law requiring population-based representation.
