Evergreen Public Schools’ board voted unanimously Tuesday to approve a new contract with the union that represents the district’s principals and other administrators.
The Evergreen Administrators Association’s new contract runs from July 2025 to June 2027 for 12-month employees. It grants cost-of-living salary increases in each of the two years, as determined by the implicit price deflator, the state’s inflation measure.
Those raises are lower than in the last contract, which went from July 2021 to June 2024 and was extended by a year. In the first year of that contract, administrators received a cost-of-living increase of 3.5 percent plus 2.88 percent — a raise of 6.38 percent. In years two and three, salaries increased with the cost of living, plus an additional 0.5 percent.
