HOPKINSVILLE, Ken. (WSMV) - The Christian County Animal Shelter received an influx of dogs this week after receiving 25 dogs that were rescued from “deplorable conditions.”
The dogs were rescued as part of an animal cruelty case out of Todd County, according to the shelter. The organization said they are all Corso mixes.
“They have been processed and will be posted as soon as we can get better pictures,” a post from the shelter said. “Most are very scared right now and are going to need some time to relax.”
The dogs are on a five-day hold to allow them time to recover and be processed.
