Anna Kepner — who was found dead on a Carnival cruise ship on Nov. 8 — will be remembered for her " adventurous spirit" and "endless energy ."

On Nov. 9, one day after the Carnival Horizon ship returned to port after a passenger died onboard , Kepner's relatives identified her as the deceased in an interview with ABC News . A Carnival Cruise Line spokesperson told PEOPLE that the death was being investigated by the FBI.
