The first-ever “Cops vs. Ballers” took place Nov. 14 at Thomas Jefferson High School, with police officers playing students in a basketball game.
The Ballers won with a final score of 77 to 65, but the real highlight was the community coming together, according to Federal Way Police Department (FWPD) Community Engagement Coordinator Tiffany Clemmings.
“A standout moment of the night was Dick’s Drive-In handing out burgers to fans in the stands, adding a fun and memorable touch to the evening,” Clemmings said. “The event also raised funds through raffle ticket sales and concession sales, with all proceeds going directly to Thomas Jefferson High School and its students.”
