Jets cornerback Kris Boyd remains hospitalized after he was wounded in a shooting in New York City on Sunday morning.
Shortly after the incident, Jets coach Aaron Glenn spoke to Boyd and what has eased his mind is that the cornerback remains “in good spirits.”
“The first thing I thought about, he just had a kid,” Glenn said. “I’m thinking about his wife, I’m thinking about his kid and I want to make sure that he’s okay. That’s the only thing that went through my mind.
“There’s a process to this, which I won’t get into, but I’m happy for the fact that he’s going to come out of this thing really, really well.”
Boyd, 29, was involved in the “scuffle” outside Sei Less on W. 38th St. near Seventh Ave. around 2 a.m. on Sunday that resulted in him being shot, police sources have said. Afte
