The holiday season is in full swing, and my goal for you this year is that you find tons of quick, easy, delicious recipes that pack tons of flavor with minimal, totally foolproof effort.

This baked cheesy rice fits the bill perfectly – it uses leftover rice (hello, meal prep, make double earlier in the week!), can be prepped in advance for Thanksgiving or any other meal, and has just 10 minutes of hands-on time. You do have to mince or grate a garlic clove and grate some cheese, but beyond that the oven does the majority of the work.

The result is an ultra-creamy, garlic and cheese-infused rice that goes perfectly on a Thanksgiving plate but also as a side to chicken and a vegetable on a weeknight.
