BRAINERD — The Minnesota Attorney General’s Office is reviewing a case against a Brainerd attorney who has been accused of physically assaulting co-workers and threatening the lives of a fellow attorney and others.
Allen Jan Peterson, 34, Merrifield, was charged in Crow Wing County District Court with multiple felony threats of violence and multiple counts of felony stalking across three different court cases.
The court has also quashed two sets of subpoenas sent to the Ed Shaw Law office by one of Peterson’s lawyers, Max Keller, and set a requirement of getting court approval for future subpoenas.
Peterson was released from jail on $50,000 bail with conditions and is due back in Crow Wing County District Court on Dec. 18.
