Although he was one of the first Congressional Republicans to back the release of the so-called Epstein Files , Sarasota’s Greg Steube was ultimately joined by 426 colleagues in the House of Representatives pass the motion on Tuesday.

Steube told the Herald-Tribune in October that he would vote to release them of the motion hit the House floor. He was one of the few Republicans at the time who publicly supported the measure, despite strong opposition from the President Trump to shut down the Epstein issue.
