FORT WAYNE, Ind. — A suspect is in custody after they allegedly led Fort Wayne police on a chase while driving a school bus Wednesday morning.
According to a release from the Fort Wayne Police Department , around 10:55 a.m. Nov. 19, officers noticed a white, multipurpose Fort Wayne Community Schools bus was tailgating their police vehicle.
The officers then allowed the bus to pass them and attempted to pull the bus over. After activating their emergency lights, police say the driver of the bus failed to stop, causing a police chase.
The chase eventually ended behind a business near the intersection of Coliseum Boulevard and Pontiac Street .
