AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Don Harrington Discovery Center (DHDC) is offering drop-off day camps throughout the school year to support families in need of childcare on Fridays.

Discovery Fridays will be day camps with a TEKS-aligned science cirriculum.

The Discovery Center says the Discovery Fridays camps meet the needs of the following four-day school districts:

Bushland ISD

Channing ISD

Groom ISD (hybrid)

Follett ISD (hybrid)

Happy ISD

Kelton ISD

Paducah ISD

Silverton ISD

Spearman ISD

Springlake-Earth ISD

Kids will be able to enjoy snacks, explore exhibits, and have lunch breaks for full-day campers. Full-day campers will need to bring a packed lunch.

The Discovery Center says cost of the camps are:

Nonmembers: $30 per half day, $55 per whole day

Members: $25 per half d
