Harvey Barnes has refused to close the door on representing Scotland at international level but admits there have been no talks about switching his allegiances from England.
The 27-year-old won his maiden cap for the Three Lions during his spell at Leicester City in 2020, having previously represented his country at U20 and U21 level.
However, because the Newcastle star's England debut came as a substitute in a friendly encounter with Wales, he is still eligible to play for Scotland, who he qualifies for through his grandparents.
The Scots ended their 27-year-long wait to reach the World Cup finals by defeating Denmark 4-2 at Hampden on Tuesday night to secure automatic qualification for next summer's tournament in the US, Canada and Mexico.
