One of the four men accused of setting fire to a Houston bar in 2020 pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit arson on Tuesday, according to federal court documents.
Miziah Shepherd, 27, along with three other men, were accused of conspiring to set fire to Bar 5015 at the request of Lyndell Price, the co-founder of the now-closed Turkey Leg Hut restaurant. Court documents allege that on the morning of June 12, 2020, Shepherd and the three other men "poured gasoline across the deck" of the bar before setting the gasoline on fire.
Shepherd was arrested in May, just a few weeks after Price was arrested for his alleged connection to the fire. According to court documents, Price is accused of paying the men in the aftermath of the fire. Sign up for
