COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Students at Oak Grove Elementary got a special treat with Cocky’s Reading Express.
The initiative, all in the name of literacy, sees USC students leading interactive story times, games, and reading activities to get kids excited about books. “We’re reading, we’re singing, we’re dancing alongside the kids,” shared one of the participants.
Third-grader Gracelan Harden enthusiastically recounted her experience, “Charlotte and my class, she loved it. She kept on putting her first sign up in the air, and she kept on shouting really loud.”
