KJAS news partner KFDM in Beaumont probable cause statements that were used to obtain arrest warrants for suspects in connection with the disappearance and alleged murder of Joshua Ian Larkin, which contain some shocking information.
According to the report by Scott Lawrence, the statement contains a confession from Justin Taylor James, admitting that he shot and killed Larkin after one of the other suspects in the case, Johnathan Cody Bierhalter, held a pistol to his head and ordered him to shoot Larkin, saying he would kill both of them if James didn't do as he said.
The affidavit from the Newton County District Attorney's Office also alleges Larkin's body was placed in a van and disposed of at a location that has not been named.
