BOSTON —

A former New Hampshire State Representative and former Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, daycare worker pleaded guilty to child exploitation and child pornography charges, U.S. Attorney Leah B. Foley announced Wednesday.

Lindsay Groves, 40, of Hudson, New Hampshire, and her former romantic partner, former New Hampshire State Rep. Stacie Marie Laughton, 41, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual exploitation of children. Groves pleaded guilty to one count of child pornography.

While Groves was employed at Creative Minds daycare from May 2022 to June 2023, police said she took photos of children in the nude and sent them to Laughton, with whom she had previously been in a relationship.
