AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Five veterans at Brandon Wilde received Quilts of Valor during a special award ceremony recognizing their military service.
Each quilt serves as a symbol of gratitude thanking the veterans for their service and sacrifice. The Quilts of Valor Foundation started in 2003 when Catherine Roberts’ son was deployed in Iraq.
