EAGAN, Minn. — Minnesota Vikings center Ryan Kelly was a full participant in Wednesday's walkthrough for the first time since coming off injured reserve last week .
The former second-team All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler suffered two concussions earlier this season and spent four weeks on IR before returning to practice last week on a limited basis. Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell said he wanted to wait until Kelly was cleared by medical staff and "essentially banging down the door to get back on the field."
"We wanted to let him go through a full practice week, or at least build up to the type of work that would allow him to feel really good coming into this week to hopefully then have another good week and then we can make a determination later this week," O'Connell said.
