The 2025 LHSAA State Swimming Meet is this week.
Preliminaries for Divisions III and IV took place on Wednesday, with the finals taking place on Thursday. Preliminaries for Divisions I and II will start Friday, with the finals for those two divisions set for Saturday.
Here's a preview of what to watch out for.
Division I
On the boys' side in Division I, Catholic will look to win its third straight team title.
The Bears enter the state swim meet with the top-ranked times across the division in the 200-yard medley relay and the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Catholic sophomore Noah Vargas ranks first for the 200-yard IM and the 100-yard breaststroke.
The Bears finished first last year with 411 team points over Jesuit, which finished with 350 points.
On the girls' side, St. Joseph's finish
