Jessica Tisch will stay on as police commissioner under the Mamdani administration.

The announcement came Wednesday morning after the two met last week to talk about their safety priorities for the city.

Ray Kelly, former NYPD commissioner under former Mayors David Dinkins and Michael Bloomberg, joined "the Rush Hour" on Wednesday to talk more about the appointment.
