FORT WORTH, Texas — City officials are implementing new safety measures on a stretch of East Berry Street that neighbors say has been plagued by crashes and dangerous driving for years.
The Fort Worth Transportation and Public Works Department has plans to install chevrons, curve warning signs and advisory speed limit signs along the roadway, particularly around a dangerous curve near the intersection of East Berry and Village Creek.
"Chevrons, curve warning signs, and advisory speed limit signs — all of those have proven effective at changing driver behavior," said Assistant Director of Transportation Management Martin Phillips.
