NORRISTOWN — A Delaware County man was sent to jail for being the ringleader in a conspiracy with three others during a burglary at a Collegeville jewelry store that netted the culprits more than $380,000 in merchandise.

Lawrence J. Dass, 28, of the 1600 block of Powell Road in Chester Township, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 10-to-23 months in the county jail after he pleaded guilty to felony charges of burglary, dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities and theft by unlawful taking or disposition.

The incident was a break-in Feb. 9, 2024, at Sabre’s Fine Jewelry store in the 400 block of East Main Street in Collegeville.
