The Michigan Department of Transportation has completed the second year of its three-year, $204 million investment to rebuild I-94 in Berrien County.
MDOT spokesperson Nick Schirripa tells us after a busy construction season, the agency will be getting out of the way soon.
“ So we’ve got westbound traffic back on the westbound lanes,” Schirripa said. “ The only thing we’ve really got going on yet, we had to do some concrete patching on bridges and concrete takes a little time to cure. So that curing process is happening now. So we are planning on everything being done and reopened before the Thanksgiving holiday.”
