Syracuse, N.Y. ― A warrant has been issued for a mother who wandered the halls of a Syracuse school without permission to confront a student who fought with her child, police said.
Keyonna Slater, 32, was called to the Frazer Pre K-8 School around 1 p.m. Tuesday after her child was involved in an altercation at school, Syracuse police spokesperson Kieran Coffey said.
Slater was placed in the office and was supposed to pick up her child, he said.
Without permission, Slater started searching the school to confront the student who was involved in the fight, Coffey said.
She was yelling threats at the student but was stopped by security before she entered a classroom, he said.
She will be charged with second-degree aggravated harassment and third-degree trespassing, police said.
