PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Peoria Police arrested three boys on Tuesday after they said the teens broke into a home.
According to police, just after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to the intersection of West Hurlbert Street and South Richard Pryor Place for a reported residential burglary.
As police investigated the incident, they said witnesses provided them with a description of the boys, leading to their eventual arrest. The boys, two 12-year-olds and a 13-year-old, face charges of residential burglary in the case.
The juveniles were released to their guardians following their arrest. The incident remains under investigation.
