1Man arrested weeks after apartment burglary in Northwest DC
WASHINGTON, DC — A 26-year-old man is in custody after authorities say he entered an occupied apartment in Northwest Washington on Halloween morning, stole personal items, and fled before being tracked down more than two weeks later.
The incident occurred around 7:00 a.m. on October 31 in the 400 block of L Street, Northwest. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the suspect unlawfully entered the apartment while it was occupied and stole a book bag containing a laptop, cash, and other items.
