EAST HARLEM, Manhattan (WABC) -- Firefighters battled a massive blaze that tore through a beer garden in East Harlem on Wednesday.
The four-alarm fire erupted at the outdoor Santiago's Beer Garden attached to a restaurant on 120th Street by First Avenue around 6 p.m., FDNY officials said.
Approximately 170 firefighters rushed to the scene.
A woman named Sindy owns the dry cleaners next door and evacuated from her business as smoke filled the air.
Officials say the fire made its way into the adjacent residential building next door through the second and third floors.
The entire four-story building has water damage, smoke and fire damage, displacing every resident in the building.
