HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) - This year, Henrico Recreation and Parks partnered with 70 historic destinations in Virginia to launch a statewide tourism journey in celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
The Virginia 250 Passport offers prizes and discounts to historic sites and museums, encouraging families to explore the history of Virginia together.
The passport is part of a statewide initiative, organized by the Virginia Museum of History & Culture (VMHC), Colonial Williamsburg, George Washington’s Mount Vernon, the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation (JYF) and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello.
Henrico is on the list with its Meadow Farm Museum at Crump Park as the featured destination.
