Former Nevada basketball standout Eathan O'Bryant was honored by the City of Reno with a proclamation on Wednesday.

Nov. 19, 2025 was declared "Eathan O’Bryant Day” for his numerous contributions to and positive impact on the Reno and Northern Nevada communities.

O'Bryant is a Nevada Athletics Hall of Famer and 2025 Athletics Distinguished Alumnus.

In addition to the proclamation for O’Bryant, the University of Nevada was recognized for its impact on the local community and economy, and the City issued a proclamation that Nov. 29, 2025, the date of The Battle for the Fremont Cannon football game against UNLV at Mackay Stadium, would be declared "Paint the Cannon Blue Day” in support of the Wolf Pack.

The Nov. 29 game kicks off at 6 p.m.
