LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two weeks after the deadly UPS plane crash near Muhammad Ali International Airport, the president of Quantum Ink Co. said his company will be down $1 million by the end of the week as his undamaged facility remains inaccessible behind police barricades during the ongoing investigation.

Adam Bland's ink manufacturing business on Melton Avenue has relocated it's headquarters to their vice president's basement while the crash debris field is processed for evidence.

"There's no home for us. We're homeless in this world of making inks," Bland said. "I've got equipment that is essentially at this point rotting."

Quantum Ink has relocated manufacturing operations to Houston, Texas, and two plants in New Albany, Indiana.
