ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

On Wednesday, Nov. 19, The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office released new internal statistics involving Operation Route 66 . According to BCSO Sheriff John Allen, it exposes the revolving door in New Mexico's Criminal Justice System. Operation Route 66 is a multi-agency law enforcement crime reduction initiative in efforts to target violent crime in Southeast Albuquerque, along Central Ave. and the International District.
