A 92-year-old man and his daughter are calling for the Department of Housing to install better security at a block of Alice Springs housing commission units, after a series of assaults on elderly residents.
Raymond Wilson was bruised and grazed after being knocked to the ground in front of his Mallam Crescent home in Sadadeen on Saturday morning.
The long-term Alice Springs resident said he had been scared and sleeping poorly since the attack.
"Even now I get that heavy, worried feeling," he said.
Mr Wilson said the housing commission should provide "more protection for the older people" in the unit complex, including the installation of CCTV cameras.
His daughter Sharon Simpson said it was the third attack on an elderly resident at the units in a 10-day period this month .
