SWANTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Businesses and Franklin County residents worked together Tuesday night to brighten the lives of kids with cancer.
Beautiful hand-decorated frames were made at the Champlain Country Club in Swanton. The frames will be filled with pictures of the day kids with cancer got their wish granted. They’ll go to more than 100 kids.
“Small moments and little things like this can completely change the way a kid looks at their illness and what it means to be a wish kid,” said Emily Malley with Make-A-Wish Vermont and Northeast New York.
Make-A-Wish says the holiday season is a really busy and important time for them. If you’re interested in making a donation, head over to the Make-A-Wish Vermont and Northeast New York website.
