NEDERLAND, Texas — Nederland ISD continues to produce athletic excellence as three more student-athletes signed their National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers.
The Lady Bulldogs softball team saw two of their senior players put pen to paper as Reese Robbins and Saydee Montoya are headed to the next level.
Robbins is taking her talents to Angelina College to be led by head coach Kassie James, a program that is looking to improve following a 16-36 season.
"It really just puts me at ease because I've been working my whole life since I started playing softball to go play in college," said Robbins.
Montoya signed her name to go and play at Navarro Junior College in Corsicana, joining a program that saw a 26-26 season last year.
